Thank You Am Israel was setup in appreciation of the Israeli people’s worldwide aid projects and initiatives, and to acknowledge in particular Israel’s assistance to Syrian victims of the civil war. It was created by Aboud Dandachi, a former Syrian refugee from the city of Homs, and who currently resides in Canada. He has been published, interviewed and quoted on Syrian issues in numerous outlets including the BBC, NPR and Israeli and Turkish press.
